Privacy Policy

Our Approach to Privacy

AbokiForex is designed to be privacy-respecting by default. We built this service to provide exchange rates and analysis - not to collect data about the people who use it. As a result, we collect no personal data from visitors. There are no user accounts, no login systems, no email newsletters (unless you explicitly write to us), and no tracking infrastructure of any kind.

What We Do Not Collect

• Personal identifiers: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
• Device or browser data: We do not collect IP addresses, browser fingerprints, device IDs, operating system details, or screen resolution data.
• Cookies and tracking: We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any client-side tracking mechanism. There are no third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.) embedded in our pages.
• Behavioural data: We do not track which pages you visit, how long you stay, which pairs you view, or any other usage patterns.
• Location data: We do not collect GPS, Wi-Fi, or IP-derived location information.
• Financial data: We do not collect trading history, account balances, wallet addresses, or any other financial information.

What Our Infrastructure Sees

Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes HTTP requests as part of serving the Service. This involves standard server-level logging that may include anonymized request counts, error rates, and bandwidth usage. These logs are aggregated and do not identify individual users. We do not have access to raw server logs containing IP addresses or user-agent strings.

Our exchange rate and calendar data is fetched from third-party APIs. When we request data from these APIs, no user information is transmitted - these are server-to-server requests containing only the API key and the data being requested.

Email Communications

If you choose to contact us via email at hello@abokiforex.ng, we will use your email address solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add your address to any mailing list, newsletter, or marketing database. We do not share your contact information with any third party. We delete correspondence records after the inquiry is resolved, unless retention is required by law.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to share. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any user information to third parties. We have no advertising partners, no data brokers, and no affilate networks that would receive user data.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be noted prominently. We encourage you to review this policy periodically, though we note that our approach - collect nothing, share nothing - is fundamental to the Service and is unlikely to change.
